Shing Yi Ng is currently working as a reporter for Today, Mediacorp Press.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University in 2003, winning the Minnie Helen Hicks prize for top female student in English Literatures.

Her new books of fiction and poetry will be published in the first quarter of next year.
